CHRISTMAS festivities in Ellisfield: Got off to a flying start last Saturday, with nearly 100 people enjoying the traditional Christmas fayre.
It was lovely to see so many children visiting Santa and enjoying the tombola, while produce, craft and gift stalls were laden with amazing offerings, proving quite a magnet for adults looking for that Christmas speciality.
Funds raised from the fayre will be shared between St Martin’s Church and Memorial Hall.
As always, thanks must go to Caroline Cazenove and all the organising team for their hard work, and to those who cooked and sewed and contributed to the continuing success of this annual event.
SALVATION Army Band: Are coming to Ellisfield Memorial Hall on Friday, December 12, for Ladies’ Club carol singing.
Residents and friends from Ellisfield and neighbouring villages are invited to join in from 7pm, where there will be mulled wine to lubricate the voice, along with mince pies and sausage rolls.
