FOLK at the Legion: Tickets on the door tdday, from 8pm, with local musician Steve Donnelly. Last year more than £500 was donated to the charity Combat Stress.
REMEMBRANCE Sunday: The Parade of Standards leaves at 9.40am this Sunday, from the Legion HQ, in Crown Lane, and proceeds to St Mary’s Church. The service commences at 10.15am.

WELL done: Laura and team at Topiary Hair and Beauty, in The Street. They have reached the finals of the small business category in the INSPIRE Business Awards 2014.
FRIENDS of Basing House: The AGM is in the Education Centre, next to the Great Barn, on Tuesday, at 7.30pm.
SUPER chef: Congratulations to Herve on his promotion to head chef at The Bolton Arms. Some deliciously different restaurant menus are planned for the new year.
