The Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Basingstoke and Deane at the Service of Commemoration in Baughurst
THE Service of Commemoration held at St Stephen's Church, Baughurst, on Sunday, November 2, to honour the men of Baughurst who gave their lives in World War 1, was both inspirational and moving.
The Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Basingstoke and Deane attended the service, which was led by The Reverend Neville Biden. A muffled half peal was rung by the bellringers of St Stephen's, which lent a sombre tone to the proceedings".
