TABLE Top Sale: Crafts or clothes to sell? Phone Kath on 473402 for space on Saturday, October 11, at the village hall from 10am-2pm. The cost is £12 per table, and setting up from 9am. Any donations will benefit St Michael’s Hospice.
JUMBLE joy: The recent village hall jumble sale raised the goodly sum of £600, and I thoroughly enjoyed helping with selling, assisted by hot tea and home-made cakes. But more volunteer sellers are desperately needed and, as all monies go towards maintaining the hall, please bear this in mind for the next event.
CARNIVAL news: Eighteen local organisations have applied to share in the profits, which will be presented at the AGM in the village hall on October 15 at 8pm. Drinks and nibbles provided.
GOOD Food Guide: Congratulations to the team at The Crown for gaining a coveted ranking amongst the top 50 pub/restaurants in the UK.
MACMILLAN Coffee Morning: From 10am-noon on Saturday, the Men’s Breakfast Club will be serving coffee and cakes in the parish room.
