VILLAGE meeting: Tomorrow, at 8pm, the annual parish meeting takes place at the Memorial Hall, Church Lane. All Ellisfield residents are invited to attend.
Tim Guinness, chairman of the parish council, will chair the meeting and report on matters dealt with over the past year.
Bernard Cazenove will report on the Education Trust, and local beat officer PC Andy Reid will report on police matters.
Representatives of village organisations will give short presentations on their activities during the year and Ellisfield residents will be invited to raise anything they believe to be important.
Anna McNair Scott, our county councillor, and Mark Ruffell, our borough councillor, have been invited and will attend if schedules allow.
HORTICULTURAL Society meeting: Next Wednesday, at the Memorial Hall, Ellisfield, at 7.45pm. Peter Chivers will speak about ‘Easy to Grow Plants for Greenhouse and Conservatory’. It’s not too late to enter the Open Garden competition on June 23.
