COFFEE Morning at Christ the King with Sale in aid of Christian Aid: The regular weekly Friday coffee morning, at the Church of Christ the King, in Sullivan Road, on Friday, May 16, from 9.15am until 11.45am, will help raise money for Christian Aid.

There will be a variety of cakes, books, and plants on sale.

All are welcome to come along and enjoy a cup of coffee and cake and friendship to help raise money for this worthwhile cause.

The theme of Christian Aid this year is to ‘Give People a Future without Fear’ and the money raised will go towards helping the growing number of people throughout the world for whom the horror of war is part of daily life.

HILL Rise Ladies Club Silent Auction and Plant Sale: Reminder that this will take place at Hill Rise Hall , Bach Close, in Brighton Hill, on Monday, at 8pm, to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

All are welcome to come along and support this worthwhile charity.
