LOCAL Plan: A huge crowd attended the South Western Action Group meeting at the community centre last week.
They saw a presentation on the Local Plan, the impact of development, and the group explained how to comment during consultation.

BELECTRIC: Held a consultation at the community centre last week re a potential solar farm at Farleigh. Plans will go to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for planning permission. The main concern is that during construction (about four months) there will be around 10 extra lorry loads daily. The route for this is not decided but it is important that it does not come through Hatch Warren.
THE Digester: Will this week start spreading digestate on the Farleigh estate. There should be no smell arising, but if any residents believe that there is, please contact me or contact Tamar directly on basingstoke@tamar-energy.com.
