MICROCHIPPING: The Dogs Trust offers free microchipping in the recreation ground car park from 10am to 2pm on Thursday, April 10.

TEA for Sue: The fourth year of this popular fundraising event for St Michael’s Hospice, in memory of a super lady, takes place from 3pm-5.30pm on April 11. Call Joan on 324749 or Judith on 350245 for information or to donate cakes. The hospice is looking for volunteers for house collections in June. Lynne Grimshaw on 848845 has details.

GOODBYE: To Sally Bashford, former St Mary’s churchwarden, who has contributed much to village life but is moving this week to Odiham. We wish her well in her new home.
