CLIDDESDEN WI meeting and panto: Next Thursday, December 12, the WI meets for a spot of carol singing and a Christmas decoration competition.
Then it’s heads down and full speed ahead for the Cliddesden Players’ panto Cinderella.
The village will be full of random people frantically muttering under their breath, slapping their foreheads (and occasionally thighs), swearing at their inability to remember their lines or where they are supposed to be standing, ineptly stitching costumes together, making dazzling sets, though, and generally working hard to bring you a panto to remember – hopefully for all the right reasons – on Friday and Saturday, December 13 and 14.
