CHRISTINGLE: The Christingle service is being held at St Leonard’s Church this coming Sunday, at 3.30pm. This is a family service for all ages, especially the children, and there will be Christmas refreshments in church following the service.
CHRISTMAS post: Oakley Scouts are once again offering to deliver your Christmas cards to any address in the village for just 20p per item. See this month’s Link magazine for the various collection points to take your cards and payment. The last acceptance date is noon on December 21.
CHRISTMAS Music Quiz: The Fox pub is holding a Christmas Music Quiz on Wednesday, at 8.30pm. It is free entry, and there will be prizes awarded for each round, so why not go along and test your musical knowledge.
THE Rotary Club: Is arranging for Santa and his elves to visit Oakley today, so listen out for the float.
MOBILE Library: Next week’s visit of the mobile library is to Kennet Way on Monday, from 1.30pm-4pm.
