CUP of char: The recent village hall lunch, which was a tea, was held in the gardens of the Old Rectory and generously supported by the owners, and raised £354 for village hall funds.

Once again, many thanks to Julia for all her hard work and also thanks to Ken for providing a welcoming glass of Pimms!

GARDEN time. The recent plant sale realised more than £90. Many thanks to the Powell family.

DON’T miss Sunday: An open day in Dummer with a treasure hunt, teas, delightful gardens to view and even a free drink at The Queen Inn if you purchase a souvenir item!

Arrive before 11am and follow the signs around the village.

A great family day out, and another fundraiser for the bells.

DING song bell: And more about the bells. The Maidenthorne Singers held a very successful concert, aided by the Dummer Bell Ringers, where they told the story in words and music of the bells in All Saints Church, which range from 1590 to 1911. This raised more than £300 for the funds.
