OAKLEY Scout Group Book Sale: Takes place this Saturday, in the Scout and Guide Centre, in St John’s Piece.
The event runs from 10am until 2pm, where books, videos and DVDs will be on sale.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available and entry is free.
Any donations of quality books, videos or DVDs will be welcome at the centre between 9am and 10am on sale day.
DISCO: Comes to Oakley in the form of a ’60s and ’70s music night on Saturday, June 19, from 7.30 to 11pm at the new St Leonard’ Centre.
Tickets are £5, including a ploughman’s supper (bring your own drinks) available from Buttercups Cafe or call 782570.
OAKLEY Schools’ Summer Fayre: Takes place in the school grounds on Saturday, June 19, from 1.30pm.
The entry fee is £1 for adults with under-16s free.
There will be a grand draw with a first prize of £100, arena events and entertainers, competitions and a variety of stalls.
