FUN in the sun...(we hope!): The Rotherwick Playground Development Group invites one and all to a family fun day this Sunday, from noon to 3pm up at the playing fields!
There will be archery, a bouncy castle, rounders and races for big and little ’uns, and best of all, a barbecue and beer tent!
Bring chairs, rugs and other picnic bits to round out a super afternoon in our lovely park and hear about the plans for upgrading the playground area.
(Does anyone remember the first redevelopment and the witch’s hat swing?
Only the surface circle remains to tell the tale).
ON OR OFF: As we go to press the weather report does not bode well for the traditional clash between the Rotherwick Tennis Club and the Vicars of Winchester scheduled for this week.
The village team of Christine Allum, Jonathan Glen, Alan Instone and Charles James stand ready to defend our honour against the formidable Vicars line-up, which includes, shock horror, our own Sue Hewlett- Smith!
