FETE: This Saturday from 12.30pm on the Green. This year, it’s a very musical event with the main attraction being the Reading Scottish Pipe Band led by Pipe Major Ron Paterson.
There will also be an appearance by Basingstoke Male Voice Chair, music by Sherfield School and later on “Rockin on the Green” with Stone Gecko and Frottage.
There’s also BasingClog Morris, Tilehurst Square Dancers and displays by Surrey Schoolboys Motor Cycle Trials and the exemption dog show. All this plus fabulous food, traditional stalls and the grand raffle.
This year’s proceeds to Help for Heroes and local charities.
JOINT Benefice Annual Songs of Praise: On the Village Green at 11am on Sunday, accompanied by Tadley Concert Brass. Chairs are provided but you may bring your own if you wish.
Well behaved pets are welcome.
LODDON Sports: Celebrate their 40th anniversary this year and on June 19 there will be a “Loddon Sports Day” on the village green.
POSH coffee morning: In the village hall on Saturday, June 19, from 10.30am in the Garden Room.
