POLICE Neighbourhood Surgery: The next meeting takes place at the Wessex Christian Fellowship Church, in Wessex Close, Kings Furlong, on Thursday, October 10.
Recent issues which have been raised at the sessions have included dog fouling, noise and vehicle nuisance, with police and council patrols mounted in response.
FANCY Dress Party: Brookvale Community Association’s Hallowe’en Fancy Dress Party for the people of Brookvale and their families is taking place between 7pm to 9.30pm on Saturday, October 26.
Everyone is invited to put on their ghoulish glad rags and turn up for a disco and activities.
Party-goers can bring their own drinks.
Tickets for this spooky spectacular are £3 each (under-twos free).
