BASINGSTOKE Town will be looking to extend their unbeaten home record in the Southern League Premier Division to seven games, when Hitchin Town are the visitors.

The Dragons latest home success came on Tuesday night with a 2-1 victory over Stratford, which moved them up to 13th, which is one place and four points behind Saturday's visitors.

When these side met earlier in the season in Hertfordshire, Hitchin won 2-1, so Basingstoke will be keen to avenge this.

Looking ahead to the game, manager Terry Brown said: "They are a good team so I am expecting a tough test, but we are at home and have done well here all season."

Jack McKnight is expected to return to the starting line-up and Dan Collier will remain on the bench, Sam Smart who is suffering a hamstring injury is likely to be rested.
