BASINGSTOKE Town will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to four games when lowly Bishop’s Stortford are the visitors to the Camrose on Saturday.

The Dragons have enjoyed an excellent home campaign, but have now picked four points in their last two away games with a 2-1 win at Biggleswade, followed by an excellent 1-1 draw at high flying Banbury on Tuesday night.

While Town are now hitting form, Stortford’s has stalled, with just win in 2018 and they are now 19th in the table, six places behind Basingstoke.

When they beat Town 2-0 in October, they moved to a season high 15th.

Town manager Terry Brown said: “I felt we deserved the three points on Saturday and the point on Tuesday night. When we played Bishop’s Stortford earlier in the season they spanked us even if they only won 2-0. They are a young side which is going to be dangerous.”
