DEAN Cooper-Kirby won two titles at the Hampshire County Championships at Winchester.

He won the under-12 singles title as the number one seed, beat fourth seed Louis Bowden in a thrilling final 6-3, 4-6, 10-8.

Cooper-Kirby was 5-1 down in the championship tie-break, closed the gap to 8-5 and then won five points on the trot to take the crown.

To reach the final he beat Ronnie Evans 6-1, 6-2, Owen Martel 6-2, 6-2 and Daniel Prickett 6-3, 6-4, He was runner-up on in the under-14 singles losing to Bowden’s brother Henry in the final 6-2.7-6.

This was after wins over Milo Maclean 6-3, 6-1, Alfie Reynolds 7-5, 7-5 and James Midgley 7-5, 6-3.

Cooper-Kirby teams up with fellow Sherfield School pupil Aaron Dawson to claim the under-12 doubles crown beating Christopher Adeshina/Owen Martel 4-1, 5-4 and then Louis Bowden/Jack Curtis 0-4, 4-1, 10-4 in the final.
