LONDON Irish’s annual senior squad visit to the Tadley RFC Community Camp will take place on Wednesday August 24.

This will be on the last day of Irish’s community camp that runs from August 22 to 24 at Tadley and provides young players, aged between seven to 14, with a comprehensive coaching programme to develop the skills and techniques required for today’s modern game.

Putting on a show, the senior squad will carry out an open training session on the Wednesday for players and parent to watch, showcasing what it takes to compete at the highest level.

The senior squad and coaching staff will also observe the young London Irish players throughout the day, offering valuable advice and guidance.

Finally, the young rugby players will also have the chance to put their questions to first team squad in a question and answer session.

Head of Community and former British Lions coach, Andy Keast praised the initiative and said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our London Irish youngsters to see how it happens and gain some personal tips, as well as being coached by the senior players.”

You do not need to be a member of a host club or school to take part - everyone is welcome on a London Irish Rugby Camp.
