JUSTIN Rose finished tied 22nd on four under at the PGA Championship at the Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey.

The former Robert May's School pupil shot a final round of 68 to finish 10 shots behind winner Jimmy Walker.

Rose's last round before heading to Rio for the Olympics saw him get to the turn one up after a bogey at hole seven was cancelled out by birdies at eight and nine.

He dropped another shot at 10, before finishing in fine style with birdies at 17 and 18. In his third round, the Englishman recorded his best round, with a four under 66, even if he dropped a shot on the first hole.

He then recorded birdies at holes three, four, 15, 17 and 18.

The day before he carded a two over 72 and then on the first day of the event managed a par 70 thanks to three birdies and three bogeys.
