SIXTEEN Kennet Ospreys fished a match at Dandys Ford last Sunday, where long pole specialist Ray Shepherd won with 111lb 5oz of carp on pole and pellet.

Dwayne Seed took second spot on 108lb 7oz on pole and pellet, Pete Newman’s 79lb 10oz was third followed by Glen Wills with 74lb 8oz. All caught.

Adventure AS were at Billhook for their match and match secretary Nick Sargent topped out with 60lb 4oz of carp on bomb and pellet, Graham Hathaway caught 52lb 8oz, Graham Spiller weighed in 49lb 14oz with Gary Hermon on 47lb 8oz. Fourteen fished and caught.

Bryan Swindle needed 46lb 4oz to win the Camrose AC match at Frobury Farm.

Brian Orchard caught 37lb 8oz on pole and pellet, followed by Colin Thomas with 33lb 8oz and Pete Morris on 30lb 4oz. Thirteen fished with one blank.

Staceys Supremo Keith Brown has stocked his four lakes with carp in the 2lb to 4lb bracket, 400lb went into Whitehouse and Old Barlows, New Barlows took 200llb whilst Soke Road received 500lb.

600b of bream are due for the venues in early December, whilst copious amounts of ide and roach are flagged up for next March. When you consider Cove AC, Hartley Wintney AS, Bracknell Herons AC, Remenham AS and Adventure AS all have exchange tickets with Staceys Angling Club and Camrose AC are full members of the scheme.

 A huge amount of fishing both lake and river is available to anyone who pays £60 for an adult permit and £50 for an OAP or junior permit.
