KENNET Osprey’s match at Bowsaw gave Bartosz Recki his third win in a row, 128lb of carp went his way falling to pole and pellet.

Keith Saunders put pole and meat to good use and caught 108lb 8oz of carp. Colin Thomas used pole and paste for his 80lb 2oz whilst Ray Shepherd made up the frame with 72lb 13oz. Twenty one fished and caught.

Adventure AS took themselves to Dandys Ford for their latest match, where Fred Gill did the business with 91lb 8oz of carp on pole and paste.

Steve Hunt caught 88lb 10oz of carp on pole and pellet just beating Robin Guppy who weighed in 88lb with Dave Stratford-Way returning 86lb 14oz. Eighteen fished and weighed.

Camrose AC went to Willow Pool and it was Tony Holdsworth who scored netting 50lb 14oz of mixed on corn over groundbait.

Paul Bassinder utilised pole and pellet for his 35lb 10oz carp bag, whilst Adrian Bartle caught 27lb 8oz on pole and pellet. Thirteen fished and caught.

Stacey Match Group were at Whitehouse Lakey where Rob Frost won with 48lb 8oz of carp on corn.

Kevin Roberts netted 37lb on caster, Steve Davis used the same tactics for his 33lb 2oz and Paul Cripps caught 23lb 12oz of mixed. 13 fished and caught.

The recent Kennet Osprey match at Gold Valley was won by John Light with 162lb of carp on the bomb, Andy Leith made second spot on 105lb followed by Dan Smith with 97lb 13oz. Sixteen fished and caught.

The Oxoid AC’s match at Witherington Farm’s Selwod Lake saw Harry Roach win with 37lb 12oz on pole and feeder. Leigh Punter caught 37lb 8oz with the same method, Pete Lovegrove was third with 29lb 12oz. Harry Roach is now this year's Witherington Champion. Eight fished and caught.

The Tony Skeats/Dave Powell Memorial Match took place at New Barlows, Bartosz Recki won the match with 58lb 8oz of mixed.

Steve Telford weighed in 34lb 8oz and John Timney caught 26lb. All the participants donated their winnings to the Air Ambulance charity, as did Keith Brown from the post match barbecue takings and with donations from friends and relatives who came after the match £252 was collected.
