ADVERTURE'S open silverfish match at the club’s Willow Pool on Bank Holiday Monday saw Browning Crowsports sponsored angler Colin Shepherd top out with 24lb 8oz on pole and caster.

Steve Hunt included a couple of bigger bream in his second placed 19lb 4oz and it was caster that did the damage, Tomasz Wojcik was third with a pole and maggot bag of 16lb 8oz whilst Nick Sargent made up the frame on 15lb 15oz.

Fourteen fished with no blanks.

Kennet Osprey’s club match at Willow Park Fishery chucked up another win for Bartosz Recki his 71lb 11oz of carp fell to pole and corn.

Graham Shadwell utilised the pellet waggler for 59lb 9oz, |Mark (red) Funnel’s 37lb 10oz was a waggler and pellet affair as was Phil Rogers 32lb 10oz.

Fifteen fished and caught.

Camrose AC put fourteen anglers on Cheriton Farm Lake last sunday where Tony Holdsworth drew a favoured peg and won with 65lb 8oz of carp on pole and paste.

Jason Marcham put 59lb of pole and corn caught carp on the scales, I managed 55lb 2oz on paste for third spot followed by Bill Atkinson’s 53lb. All caught.

Adventure AS fished at Frobury Farm Lake Two on Sunday last, where Mark Blackman put pole and paste to good use and won the match with 59lb.

Graham Spiller used the same combination for his 47lb 8oz of carp. Pole and meat was Rob Gallagher's chosen method and it gave him 47lb whilst Dave Butlers 41lb was a pole and corn affair.

Fourteen fished and weighed.

Adventure go back to their Willow Pool this Sunday, Ospreys are at Frobury Farm Lake Two, Camrose are at Whitehouse Lake and Basingstoke Railway Club are at Soke Road Lake.
