TADLEY Calleva's Wessex League Division One promotion hopes took another dent, as they were beaten at home by AFC Stoneham 2-0.
Will Harris scored twice in the first-half and then after the break Brett Denham forced an early save and then with five minutes left Tadley were awarded a penalty. However, Paul Coventry's spot kick was saved brilliantly by Scott Williams.
The result saw them slip to fifth in the table and their home game against Follands was postponed on Tuesday night.
They will hope to bounce back to winning ways on Saturday, when they entertain Downton and then on Tuesday they are away at Us Portsmouth.
