TADLEY Calleva are in a Wessex League Division One top of the table clash this weekend, when they travel to leaders Laverstock and Ford.

Tadley are six points behind their rivals, but have three games in hand so Saturday’s game is a real big clash.

Calleva boss Danny Dolan said: “This weekend is a real six pointer and I really hope we can get something out of the game.

“I am looking forward to the game and we have a full squad to pick from.”

Last Saturday, Tadley moved up into the promotion places after a 3-2 victory over visiting Fawley.

The home side found themselves one down from the penalty spot.

Tadley were soon level, as Sam Hamilton corner was headed home by Paul Coventry.

There were no more goals in the first 45 minutes, even if the home side had plenty of chances.

Tadley took lead after the break, after Brett Denham raced away and beat the visiting goalkeeper one-on-one.

The home side then extended their lead to 3-1 from a goal mouth scramble, thanks to Danny Vickers.

Fawley pulled a goal back, but Tadley held on for a deserved victory.

This maintained their unbeaten home record and was in fact their sixth straight win at Barlow’s Park.

After his side’s latest win Dolan said: “We dominated this game and their goalkeeper was busy throughout the game.
