TADLEY Calleva have two big home games this coming week and it is only the third week of the season.

Tadley continued their perfect start to the season with a 5-2 victory at Hythe and Dibden last weekend, which left them third in the Wessex League Division One. This Saturday, they entertain New Milton who are second in the table after two wins and a draw.

On Tuesday night, Tadley are at home looking to take a Premier Division scalp in the Hampshire Senior Cup when Cowes Sports are the visitors.

Last Saturday at Hythe and Dibden, the visitors were quickly out of the blocks as Paul Coventry netted a brace in the first 28 minutes and then George Hallahan made it 3-0 at half-time.

The home side cut the lead eight minutes after the break, but Archie Fawcett restored the three goal cushion with 15 minutes to go.

The sides then swapped goals in the final two minutes with Brett Denham getting Tadley’s fifth.
