THE stand out fixture of the opening month of the Wessex League Division One for north Hampshire teams, will see newly relegated Whitchurch United travel to Tadley Calleva on Tuesday August 29.
This is first time these sides have clashed in league action since season 2012/13 when the Jam Boys who won promotion that season won at Tadley 1-0, while honours were shared at Longmeadow after a 1-1 draw.
Whitchurch have been given a tough start in their return to Division One. They open with a home game on Saturday August 12 against Christchurch, who just missed out on promotion last season, when they finished fourth.
Four days later, they entertain AFC Stoneham, who were eighth last term, before a trip to Ringwood on August 19 and they came fifth last season.
Tadley will open their campaign with a home fixture against United Services Portsmouth on Saturday August 5.
They finished seventh last season, which was two places above their Pompey visitors and when the US travelled to Tadley a year ago the game was a real thriller.
The home side winning the game 3-2 as Andrew Charsley, Brett Denham and Sam Hamilton all scored.
On the second Saturday of the campaign, Tadley are on their travels to Hythe and Dibden, looking to avenge a 1-0 defeat there last time.
Then on August 19, they entertain New Milton.
