DAN Allison scored a hat-trick which helped AFC Aldermaston Reserves to a 5-3 victory over the Herriard Sports in the Basingstoke and District Saturday League.
Chris Allen gave them the lead after just three minutes, a curling lob from 25 yards.
Alliston made it 2-0, but back came Herriard and levelled by the 25th minute.
Stuart Minton put away a free-kick from Jason Minton and a Chris Dobbie netted a free-kick.
Alliston scored his second with a pile driver from 30 yards, but Dobbie made it 3-3 following a Nick Saunders' corner.
In the second half Michael Porter chipped the goalkeeper after a Matt Hoyte pass and Alliston finished Herriard off with his third following a corner by Lee Wheeler.
Winklebury Wizards were unable to field a team against Tadley Calleva A who will be handed the three points.
Longdog Soldiers continued their good run to move into second spot in Division Two with a 3-0 win against Basingstoke Town Colts.
This was despite going down to 10 men in the 10th minute after Jack Waldron was shown a straight red for a poor tackle.
Colts had plenty of opportunities and Banica Opria also saw his penalty saved by goalkeeper Jake Barnes.
Before this Soldiers went a goal up from Max Trodd and just after the hour Sam Trodd made it 2-0 and Max Trodd scored the third.
Sherborne Saints suffered a set back to their promotion hopes as they lost 4-3 at Twentyten Reserves.
Dan Hancock led the way for Twentyten with a hat-trick with Adam Sawko getting the winner.
Saints goals came from Andy Darmody, Liam Doran and Dan Grimes, who led 3-1 at half-time.
Basingstoke Athletic still lead the division and will be six points clear when awarded the three points from the unplayed match against Somesay, who were unable to raise a team last Saturday.
This Saturday's fixtures are Division 1: Bounty Utd v Herriard Spts, Hook v Twentyten.
Division 2: AFC Aldermaston v Origin Headley, AFC Berg v Longdog Soldiers, Chineham v Basingstoke Town Colts, Somesay v Sherborne Saints, Twentyten Res v Basingstoke Ath.
