GEORGE Lethaby produced a superb all round performance as Oakley II kept the pressure on leaders St Mary’s,i n Hampshire League Regional Division Two North East.

Lethaby (74) and Chris Morris (51) helped the Oaks to 252-6 and then Lethaby took four wickets as Hook and Newnham Basics IV was limited to 188-8.

Leaders St Mary’s crushed visiting Liphook II by 10 wickets.

The visitors were bowled out for 85, thanks to Stephen Reid (4-30) and Ali Kanjee (3-6). Marc Minikin (75) and Russell Hawkins then knocked off the runs.

Herriard are third, after nine wicket success, at Sparsholt (64). Dave Brown had a great game scoring 47 not out and taking 4-12.

Hartley Wintney III (195-7) were three wickets winners, after James Philpott (85) and Martin Prodger (30) shared an opening stand worth 70.

AWE Tadley lost to Holybourne II (200-4) as they made 86-7, chasing a revised target of 126.

Division Three North East leaders Ashfield Hill II march on after a 27 runs win over visiting Odiham and Greywell III.

The home side scored 200-8, as Mark Ridley top scored with 41 and Lars Mosesson took 4-50.

Steven Nee-Davies (52) led the Odiham reply of 173, as Hill’s Steve Wadsworth (5-43) did the damage with the ball.

Hook V (143) lost by 10 wickets to Aldershot IV.

Ashford Hill also lead the way in Division One North East, after a 110 run victory over East Woodhay, who they shot out for 51.

Silchester are still second as they won by 122 runs over visiting Sherfield-on-Loddon.

The home side scored 266-8 thanks to Elliot Dedman (74) and Gareth Cloutt (64) and then Darren Henwood took 5-38 as Sherfield reached 144-7.

Kingsclere moved up to third as they scored 256-7. Ross Andrews and Norman Howe put on 104 for the first wicket. The chase total was reduced to 239, but Easton and MW were bowled out for 91.

Rotherwick ITW (120-4) beat Odiham II (117), while Overton II (143) lost at Bishop Waltham III (206).
