RAMSDELL II claimed a six-wicket win away at Hungerford II to retain their position at the top of Hampshire Cricket League Regional Division Four North.

Steve Attridge took 3-31 as Hungerford were restricted to 167-8, a total that Ramsdell reached for the loss of four wickets, with Russell Cook (35), Mark Gibson (34) and Andy Barrett (34) all chipping in.

Ben Robertson took 4-28 as Herriard II skittled hosts Wherwell II out for 73, going on to complete a nine-wicket win.

Whitchurch II emerged from their trip to Ashford Hill II as three-wicket winners. Saran Palinni made 74 as Ashford Hill ended their innings on 186-7 and while Barry Monger took 3-50 in the Whitchurch reply, Jack Dancer led the visitors to victory with an unbeaten knock of 80.

Ashford Hill's first team fared better in their game against Old Basing II in Division One North, winning by four wickets.

Mark Williamson took 5-10 and Pete Newton 3-22 as Basing were dismissed for just 83. Ashford Hill didn't find batting easy either, with Angus Stonach taking 4-31, but they got home with six wickets down.

Callum Coombs was the star of the show as Basingstoke and North Hants IV won by nine wickets at Sherfield-on-Loddon. He took 3-14 as the hosts were bowled out for 129 before top-scoring with an unbeaten 49 in Basingstoke's winning reply.

Ramsdell, Herriard and Kingsclere also recorded victories. Ramsdell beat Littleton and West Hill by 10 wickets after dismissing their visitors for 89, while James Beckwith made 87 as Herriard reached 209-4 at home to Crown Taverners, who were restricted to 193-8 in reply.

Rob Andrews hit 59 as Kingsclere were bowled out for 169 at home to Longparish II. Paul Gundry (5-31) and Freddie Gee (3-18) then starred with the ball as the visitors were dismissed for 145, Kingsclere winning by 24 runs.

Becky Hartnett and Tom Wiltshire both claimed four wickets as Odiham and Greywell bowled visiting Old Alresford out for 177, but while Sam Beale made 68, the hosts were bowled out seven runs short of their target.

Nick Harding his 106 and Josh Bland 54 in an opening stand of 120 as Hook and Newnham Basics IV reached 228-7 at home to Odiham and Greywell II in Division Two North.

James Hawksworth took 3-55 for the visitors, who made a good fist of their reply, with Alex Brown hitting 63. However, Ian Shore took 3-28 for Hook as Odiham were bowled out for 223, five runs short of their target.

Old Basing III enjoyed a 26-run win away at Rotherwick ITW.

Arjun Minyala hit 76 and Varnet Shukla 68 as Basing reached 193-9, with Adam Cordery (5-33) and Tim Culver (3-28) among the wickets for Rotherwick. Alex Tatnall hit an unbeaten 60 and Paul Buckingham made 58 in the reply, but Rotherwick could only muster 177-6.

Silchester sit fourth in the table after beating Twyford by nine wickets. Darren Henwood took 4-34 as the visitors were bowled out for 126, with Lee Jones hitting an unbeaten 52 in Silchester's winning reply.

St Mary's lost on the final ball away at Easton and Martyr Worthy in Division Three North East.

Having made 180-8, St Mary's looked in good shape as Nathan Field (3-18) and Dan Vickery (3-49) had the hosts 125-7 at one point, but Easton and Martyr Worthy hit back to grab a one-wicket victory, with the winning runs coming from the last delivery.

Oakley II are second after beating visiting Liphook and Ripsley III by six wickets. Steve Bown and Lance van Dyke both took three wickets at the visitors were bowled out for 115.

Hartley Wintney III beat Overton III by 78 runs, bowling their hosts out for just 53 after making 131.

Andy McCarthy's 62 was in vain as AWE Tadley II came up six runs short at Aldershot IV, reaching 206-9 chasing 212-7.

Odiham and Greywell III were unable to defend their all-out total of 102 at Colden Common II, losing by six wickets.

Overton II could only make 122-4 at home to Winterbourne II in Division Three North West, but Sam Cross' haul of 5-19 helped them to a 18-run win, the visitors being bowled out for 104.
