BASINGSTOKE RFC’s winless start to the season continued as they lost 34-0 at Hampshire rivals Portsmouth in London Two South West.
The first 40 minutes was hotly contested as the home side only led 12-0 at half-time, with Greg Hoolhan scoring the opening try.
After the break, further scores followed for Hoolhan, Daniel Holbrook, Jackson Clark and Ryan Wilkie as Portsmouth took maximum points from the game.
Stoke face another Hampshire derby this weekend, with a game against visiting Andover.
The All Blacks lost narrowly16-9 at home to high flying London Cornish on Saturday.
