CHARLOTTE Purdue booked her place at this year’s World Championships, after being the second British women home in the London Marathon.
The 25-year-old Hook runner came in 15th one place behind the top home runner Alyson Dixon.
Both completed the course in personal best time times, with Purdue finishing in two hours 29 minutes and 23 seconds.
Both will now return to London for the Word Championships later in the year.
On her twitter account Purdue said Wow that hurt, but it was so worth it.
