BASINGSTOKE and North Hants won their first game in this season's Thames Valley League division one as they beat newly promoted Marlow by 110 runs.
Chris Froud (113) led the way with the bat with an impressive century and shared a third wicket stand of 123 with Jack Parsons (42).
Late on in the innings Martyn James smashed a quick fire half century in just 24 balls as the home side reached 280-8.
Marlow were then bowled out for 170 as James (7-60) did the damage.
