FORMER Reading captain Graeme Murty's Testimonal match which is being played at the Madejski Stadium on Monday July 20 (8pm) will be sponsored by Pangbourne-based company WW Giles (Smithfield) Limited.

The game will mark 11 years that Old Basing resident Murty has had at the club and will feature the current Reading side, led by new Royals manager Brendan Rodgers, against the Reading side that won the Championship in 2005/06 with a record 106 points.

As well as celebrating Murty's long service to the club, the fixture will provide an evening of nostalgia, with many of the "106" players hoping to return to the scene of one of the greatest achievements of their careers.

Also available on the night are tables of 10 and individual hospitality packages at £60 per head.

This which will include a two course pre-match meal in the Princess Suite, viewing from a hospitality box, complimentary match programme plus two car park passes (per 10 tickets).

There will also be a post match reception with various players in the Princess Suite hosted by Ben Rice.

There are also match mascot packages available at a cost of £250, which includes a goody bag, tour of the tunnel and dressing room, meet the players, warm up on pitch, walk out on the pitch with your favourite player, photograph in the centre circle with match official and team captains.

The package also includes four match tickets, but mascots are requested to wear Reading FC kit which is not included.

From money raised on the night, Murty will be making a substantial donation to Swings and Smiles, a charity he is patron of who are looking to build a comprehensive recreational facility in West Berkshire for all families who have special needs children.
