Pubs and bars across Basingstoke were packed once again as England secured a 2-1 victory over DR Congo in their World Cup knockout clash on Wednesday evening.
Supporters gathered in large numbers for the 5pm kick-off, with venues reporting early crowds and a lively atmosphere as fans watched England come from behind to progress to the next round.
At The Post Box bar in the town centre, fans filled out the venue, sharing a mix of nerves and optimism throughout the match as DR Congo took an early lead before England turned the game around.

Before the kick-off, Jack Lambert-Griffiths said: "I reckon England will win.
"I don't think it will be a spectacular game."
Bev and Mark Matthews added they were simply "hoping for the win" as the team looked to progress further in the tournament.
Among a larger group watching together, Steve said: "Fairly confident, not expecting anything pretty, I think it'll be fairly scrappy."
Chris and Josh Harwood were also in attendance, with Josh predicting a 2-0 victory for England.
The early evening kick-off, adjusted to suit North American audiences, did little to dampen the atmosphere in Basingstoke, with celebrations following the final whistle after a hard-fought win.
