Metropolitan Police 2 - Hartley Wintney 2
Hartley Wintney all but banished any remote chance of relegation by getting out of jail thanks to an added-time goal from Aaron Burchett to salvage a draw.
It was the Met who asked all the questions in the first half, and in 12 minutes, a shot from Mason Galloway hit the post. However, the home side were not to be denied, and a minute later, Galloway found Jamal Sharpe, who went round Row keeper Nick Jupp to slot into the net.
Mason Galloway was proving to be a constant thorn to the Hartley defence and just past the half-hour mark doubled the lead after some very loose play from the Row defence.
Hartley recovered well, and on the stroke of half-time, they pulled a goal back from Sam De St.Croix.
Hartley strove hard to get on level terms through the second period but often guile and quality were not what was required. However, when all seemed lost, they conjured up an equaliser in added time through Aaron Burchett.
