The American goalie faced 51 shots and the man-of-the-match was beaten just three times.
Danny Stewart helped himself to a brace of goals, while Trevor Read and Brent Hughes also found the back of the Devils' net.
The home side's strikes came from Mike Prpich, Jason Silverthorn and Derek Campbell.
