BASINGSTOKE'S Darryl Still has a new opponent for his third professional fight at the Mountbatten Centre, Portsmouth, on Sunday.

The unbeaten boxer was due to fight Wiltshire-based Chris Long but, instead, will come up against David Kehoe, from Northampton.

The journeyman fighter turned pro in 1996 and has a record of nine wins, including three knockouts, in 55 fights.

Still hopes to repeat his superb victory in his last fight at the venue, when he was knocked to the canvas but recovered to beat Craig Dyer in a points decision.

The local fighter, who trains in Southampton and Bordon, shares an undercard with a number of fellow boxers from the Jack Bishop stable, including Steve Ede and Paul Dyer.

Still said: "This is going to be a real learning experience for me, against a fighter who, I have been told, throws big, looping punches which I will have to watch out for.

"I am going to keep my hands up and fight smart. It would be nice to have an early night, but the main objective is to win and move on to the next fight."

Tickets, priced at £25, can be obtained from Still on 07901 794407.
