Watford FC is reported to be investigating a player's social media activity after risque footage emerged online.

Striker Adalberto Penaranda reportedly shared footage of a party via his social media accounts.

The video shows a scantily-clad woman 'twerking' and other women lying on a bed, with men in the background dancing in swimwear or underwear.

According to reports, the 23-year-old shared videos to his 'close friends' via his Instagram stories showing himself at the party, while some of the footage has also been leaked via Twitter.

The young Venezuelan forward joined from Udinese back in 2016, before loan moves to Granada, Udinese, Malaga and KAS Eupen, from which he was recalled midway through last season.

The club could not be reached for comment but The Athletic is reporting that the club will investigate his social media activity and speak with him when he returns for pre-season training.

The forward has made just three appearances for Watford, all in cup matches, and claimed that "immaturity" had caused his career to stall after his return from Eupen.
