RECORDS are there to be broken.
That’s the view of Saints manager Ralph Hasenhuttl as he looks to beat West Ham for the first time.
The Austrian is yet to pick up a point against in the Hammers in his previous three meetings with the London Stadium outfit.
Asked to explain Saints’ struggles against tomorrow’s opponents, Hasenhuttl said: “At home we had very tight games and there was once where we made two big mistakes and went two down.
“I think we are really keen to show a better performance because we have to.
“I think this opponent so far is not the best we have played against but, as always, records are there to be broken.
“For us, it’s important to go there with all the self-confidence we created to show a different face.”
Hasenhuttl was also impressed with the Hammers' most recent performance against Liverpool, adding: “It was close to being sensational but, in the end, the quality of Liverpool was still there.”
