Camrose AC went to Whitehouse Lake on Sunday last, where Jason (The Paste) Marcham returned to winning ways with an all bream bag of 54lb 7oz caught on pole and maggot, Darren Goddard put the maggot feeder to good use for his 22lb 10oz of carp and bream, John Swindle caught 12lb 2oz of mixed on pole and maggot whilst Pete Morris caught two carp on pole and maggot to weigh an even 8lb. Fifteen fished and all caught.

Kennet Ospreys match at Greenridge Farm (FLE) saw Dwayne Seed top out netting 63lb 12oz of carp on pole and bread, Keith Saunders made second spot on 54lb 8oz of carp again on pole and bread, one ounce behind and in third place was (I don’t moan) Steve Shepherd, but I bet he did, pole and corn was the happy chappies chosen method. Eleven fished and caught.

Adventure AS fished at Soke Road Lake for their latest fixture, Graham Spiller won the match with 25lb 8oz of mixed on pole and bread, Steve Palmer was also on pole and bread for his three carp that weighed 15lb 12oz, Gary Knight made up the frame with 8lb 13oz of carp on pole and maggot. Seven fished with one blank.

This coming Sunday Oxoid AC are at Dandys Ford Fishery, Adventure go to Court Farm Lake, Camrose will be at New Barlows Lake whilst Kennet Ospreys will be on Billhook Lake.

The weather has played havoc with the fishing of late, very wet and very windy, but at least the temperatures have remained reasonable. Having just returned from Marrakech ‘er indoors took one look at the leaden skies and got on the Internet looking for a winter break, guess who will be away soon.
