TUESDAY evening saw Basingstoke Town lose 4-0 to very strong army select side in a friendly game.
Manager Dan Brownlie said: "They are a strong team and I think if they were in our league they would be top three. It was a good work-out for us."
Next for the Dragons in the league trip to Highworth this Saturday and they expected to have some new signings in their line-up, but illness looks set to rule out Claudio Herbert and Ben Dillon.
Looking at the trip to Highworth, Brownlie said: "It is tough place to go as it is small tight pitch and they can hit you with long balls at any time. So we have to stay switched on for the whole game."
