SAINTS remain unmoved in their stance regarding Che Adams.
Leeds have been pursuing the striker since the beginning of the January transfer window but have been routinely told he’s not available.
As first reported in the Daily Echo, Saints have no interest in allowing Adams to leave because it would mean leaving themselves short in attack.
A report in the Yorkshire Evening Post claimed Leeds offered the St Mary’s side a sizeable loan fee with an obligation to sign him for £20m in the summer, should they seal promotion.
However, it’s understood that there is a growing sense of bemusement behind the scenes at Saints over how the Adams situation is playing out.
The striker is happy to stay on the south coast and the club have continued to make it clear to the Championship side that he isn’t going to be leaving.
