BASINGSTOKE Bison forward Bayley Harewood has been selected to represent Great Britain under-18 team for the Under-18 World Championship Division Two in Tallinn.

GB will face Estonia, Korea, Lithuania, Romania and Serbia between March 22 and 28.

The teenager forward celebrated by scoring last weekend in the home win against Peterborough and Bison player./coach Ashley Tait: "I am really pleased he has been picked and is working hard and improving all the time."

Harewood will be looking for more goals this weekend as the Bison face a visit from Hull Pirates on Saturday (6.30pm) and on Sunday (6pm) the Herd are away at leaders Telford Tigers.

George Norcliffe is still out of the line-up, but Jay King who missed last Sunday's game due to illness and Alex Mettam was also ill during the game hence why Dan Weller-Evans replaced him.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Tait said: "I think we have a point to prove against Hull, while against Telford we have beaten them twice at home and were only 30 seconds from taking a point their last time."
