THE Basingstoke Buffalo are in action this Sunday (6.15pm) in a Hampshire derby against the Solent Junior Devils.
The Buffalo finished 2019 with a thrilling 4-3 victory at home to the Swindon Wildcats.
Travis Penny opened the scoring at 4:52 assisted by Sam Brooks and Cam Buckle.
Swindon bevelled things, but Penny netted his second and then Warren Jones made it 3-1 by the first period break, as he finished a nice move involving from Jack Peacock and Neil Leary.
The visitors scored twice to level things up by the second break, but the Buffalo were not to be denied as Sam Dollin scored the winner as he converted a pass from William Birch.
