BASINGSTOKE Town travel to league leaders Frome Town this Saturday, knowing they are very much the underdogs.

The Somerset are unbeaten in their last eight league outings, while Town last their last four games.

Manager Dan Brownlie said: "We know the pressure is on them and we are underdogs, but we have to make sure we bark loudly and bite.

"I have faith in my team and we do perform well against the top teams."

His preparations for the game have not been helped, as goalkeeper Freddie Gee and Ryan Suckling were injured in Town's 2-1 win over Badshot Lea in Tuesday night's friendly, as Ben Wright and Aidan Harris were on target the Dragons.

Brownlie said: "I am talking to number of goalkeepers and hope to have one in for the weekend."

Last Saturday, Town were beaten 3-1 by visiting Bristol Manor Farm, as the home side gave a debut to new striker Bradley Wilson.

The 22-year old having played at Reading and Watford as a youngster and joined the Dragons this week from Fleet Town and Brownlie felt he played well on his debut.

Goals from Lewis Bamford and Jordan Metters had the visitors 2-0 up, but with nine minutes left club captain Dean Stow pulled a goal back.

Town midfielder Jordan Edwards was then sent-off and will miss the Frome game.

Metters with his second goal wrapped up the scoring.
