THE Basingstoke Bison will be looking to build on their first four point weekend of the season, when they face Telford and Bracknell next.

The Telford Tigers make their second trip this campaign to Basingstoke on Saturday (6.30pm) and this is the third meeting in total with every game won by the home side.

On Sunday (5.30pm) the Herd travel to the Hive to take on the Bracknell Bees looking to sting them for a third time this season.

The Bison will wait on the fitness of Michal Klejna, Hallam Wilson, Tom Ralph, Sam Smith and Oscar Evans.

Richard Bordowski remains ruled out, so Marek Malinsky will once again suit for the Herd.

The Czech Republic import picked up four assists on his first weekend with the team having joined as injury cover.

He started this campaign with the Raiders where he collected just three points in seven games.

Last season he played in Sweden for Kalix and before this in North America for a couple of years.

Bison Player/coach Ashley Tait said: "Last weekend, it was not pretty on Saturday against MK, but we got the win. Then on Sunday, we had a few more guys out, but we played really well in Peterborough and you have to if you are going to get anything out of that building."

Looking ahead to this weekend Tait said: “ Telford maybe be short benched but Tommy (Watkins) has a good core of players who know how he wants to play. They keep getting results and they are second in league so it is going to be tough.

"Last time in Bracknell we won 9-2, but that was a one off game, so this time it will be a lot closer."
