THE Basingstoke Bison dished out their biggest win of the season, as they well and truly stung the Bracknell Bees last Sunday beating them 9-2.
It equalled the Herd’s biggest ever win at the Hive which was back in 2011 when they won 10-3 and was very impressive when you consider they were still minus import Richard Bordowski.
Slovak sniper Michal Klejna led the goal gut scoring four times and Ryan Sutton netted his first ever Herd hat-trick.
A delighted Bison player/coach Ashley Tait said: "I asked for a response after the Hull loss on Saturday night and I definitely got that we played hard from start to finish."
This weekend, the Herd have just the one game when reigning South One champions Swindon Wildcats are in town on Sunday which has the earlier face-off time at 5.30pm.
Bordowski is once again a doubt for this weekend for the Bison, while Swindon will arrive with the top two points scorers of the league in Tomasz Malasinski and Aaron Nell.
Tait said: "Swindon have nine very good forwards making them very offensively strong and we will have to stop them if we are going to win."
