THE Basingstoke Buffalo maintained their perfect start to the season and they beat the visiting Bristol Pitbulls 4-2.
The South Two South West leaders had to win the game the hard way coming back from a goal down after the first period.

The home side equalised with the only goal of the second period scored by Cam Buckle assisted by Sam Brooks and Travis Penny.
The Buffalo took the lead in the contest at 45:13 as Warren Jones converted a pass from Marcus Russell. Then a minute later, Jack Peacock struck with a powerplay strike from Penny. The visitors made it 3-2 at 48:57 from Nathan Darmanin.
The home side made sure of the win as Peacock scored his second powerplay goal, assisted by Penny and Buckle,

This Sunday the Buffalo are away at Swindon and their next home game is against title rivals the Guildford Phoenix on Saturday, October 26 (6.15pm).
Last weekend, former Arsenal and Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech made Phoenix debut in goal for them.
