THE Basingstoke Buffalo made it three wins out of three with a a 6-2 victory at the Cardiff Fire.

The visitors opened the scoring after 107 seconds as a lovely move involving Sam Brooks and Cam Buckle saw Travis Penny slot into the empty net.

The Fire levelled from Jordan Powell at 4:02 with a shot from distance, but 39 seconds the Buffs took the lead again as Sam Brooks was on target.

Warren Jones with a nice back hand finish then made it 3-1 as he converted a pass from Jack Peacock.

The second session saw the visitors added two more unanswered goals.

Buckle scored the first with an excellent wrist shot from the left wing.

The second came as Jack Peacock found Jason Newman and he netted at the second attempt.

Man of the match Penny took his tally to four points for the game as he scored his second on the night at 42:59.

It was left to the home side to complete the scoring 45 seconds before the final buzzer from Carter-Jaice Lloyd.

This Sunday (6.15pm) the Division Two South West table topping Buffalo entertain the Bristol Pitbulls.
